Gun Rights
I. Why guns should be kept: Guns should be kept because they are not just used to collect and shoot, but because they are also used for protection.They also give the person getting attacked an upper hand in the confrontation. In plus, if they are able to sneaking people into the US, how easy do you think it would be for them to sneak something ten times smaller?
II. Guns don't kill people, people kill people: So you are always hearing about guns killing people but yet you never think about the fact that guns don't have legs or fingers. Well if you don't get the point then here it is, their is always someone behind the stock of the gun. And if you are thinking that guns are too dangerous then you are only 1/3 of the way right because guns are not dangerous until there is ammunition and someone mixed with it.
III. Guns can be bad, but they also save lives: Ok yes, guns have been used to kill people. They have also been used to make America a free country, save livestock from predators, save people from predators that are animals and humans.They can even help kill time when men or women are with their friends just having a good time getting away from the stresses of life.
IV. Guns are good: The people are always saying that guns are no good and how they are always causing crime. What they don't realize is that guns also stop crime. Guns can also give the person stoping the crime a huge advantage against the criminals. For example, If there is a criminal charging at you and you pull out a firearm, they are more than likely going to comply to whatever you tell them to do.
V. Guns should be kept by civilians because the police will not always be there in time: Guns should be able to be possessed by civilians and not just cops because what if some one were to break into your house and they had a gun and your kids,wife,and you were there and you didn't have a gun or any kind of weapon to protect yourself. If the police take 5 to 10 minutes to get to your house.If the intruder is there to kill the cops would not be there in time. So if you had a firearm you could take matter into your own hand and save yourself and your family.
